After examining the observations received, the Minister for the Economy informs each company concerned of his decision by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. He may close the case or order the companies to take measures to put an end to the anti-competitive practices observed and indicate the amount proposed as a settlement, or one of these last two measures only.
For each company concerned, the decision sets out the deadlines by which the company must comply with the injunction and pay the proposed settlement to the Treasury.
The company to which the decision is addressed has one month from notification of the decision to accept it by countersigning it, failing which the company is deemed to have refused to settle and to execute the injunction.
The Autorité de la concurrence is informed of each injunction issued and each settlement reached.
