Article R50-76 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The Paris Sentence Enforcement Court will refer the matter to the penitentiary integration and probation service with territorial jurisdiction over the place of detention of the person concerned, which will forward to it any proposals for measures likely to promote the reintegration of the person concerned and the acquisition of citizenship values.

Le tribunal de l’application des peines de Paris saisit le service pénitentiaire d’insertion et de probation territorialement compétent au regard du lieu de détention de la personne concernée qui lui communique toute proposition de mesures propres à favoriser la réinsertion de la personne concernée et l’acquisition des valeurs de la citoyenneté.
