Article R50-79 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

In the exercise of the powers provided for in the fifth paragraph of I of Article 706-25-16, the Sentence Enforcement Judge of the Paris Judicial Court shall appoint the penitentiary integration and probation service with territorial jurisdiction over the place of habitual residence of the person concerned or, failing that, the Paris service, to ensure that the obligations are complied with. This service reports regularly to this magistrate.

The sentence enforcement judge of the Paris judicial court will keep a file on the progress of the measure for each person subject to a judicial measure to prevent recidivism by terrorists and to reintegrate them into society. This file may be consulted by the person concerned and his lawyer at the registry of the sentence enforcement judge.

Dans l’exercice des compétences prévues au cinquième alinéa du I de l’article 706-25-16, le juge de l’application des peines du tribunal judiciaire de Paris mandate le service pénitentiaire d’insertion et de probation territorialement compétent au regard du lieu de résidence habituelle de la personne concernée ou, à défaut, celui de Paris, pour veiller au respect des obligations. Ce service rend compte régulièrement à ce magistrat.


Il est tenu par le juge de l’application des peines du tribunal judiciaire de Paris pour chaque personne soumise à une mesure judiciaire de prévention de la récidive terroriste et de réinsertion un dossier relatif au déroulement de la mesure. Ce dossier peut être consulté par la personne concernée et son avocat au greffe du juge de l’application des peines.
