Article R50 sexies of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Prior to exercising his activity, the specialised assistant shall take an oath in these terms before the court of appeal referred to in the first paragraph of Article R. 50 quater: “I swear to maintain the secrecy of information on judicial cases and on the actions of the public prosecutor’s office and the investigating and trial courts, of which I may have become aware in the course of my work within the courts”.

This oath may not be withdrawn under any circumstances.

Préalablement à l’exercice de son activité, l’assistant spécialisé prête serment en ces termes devant la cour d’appel visée à l’alinéa premier de l’article R. 50 quater : ” Je jure de conserver le secret des informations sur les affaires judiciaires ainsi que sur les actes du parquet et des juridictions d’instruction et de jugement, dont j’aurai eu connaissance à l’occasion de mes travaux au sein des juridictions “.

Il ne peut en aucun cas être relevé de ce serment.
