Article R5121-143 of the French Public Health Code

For medicinal products containing radionuclides, in addition to the information provided for in article R. 5121-140, the labelling of the protective shielding provides all the explanations relating to the codes used on the vial and indicates, where applicable, the total or unit quantity of radioactivity for a given time and date as well as the number of capsules or, for liquids, the number of millilitres contained in the container.

The labelling of the immediate packaging includes the following information:

1° The name or code of the medicinal product, including the name or chemical symbol of the radionuclide ;

2° Identification of the batch and the expiry date;

3° The name and address of the manufacturer;

4° The international radioactivity symbol;

5° The total or unit quantity of radioactivity.

Pour les médicaments contenant des radionucléides, outre les mentions prévues à l’article R. 5121-140, l’étiquetage du blindage de protection fournit toutes les explications relatives aux codes utilisés sur le flacon et indique, s’il y a lieu, la quantité totale ou unitaire de radioactivité pour une heure et date données ainsi que le nombre de capsules ou, pour les liquides, le nombre de millilitres contenus dans le récipient.

L’étiquetage du conditionnement primaire comporte les renseignements suivants :

1° Le nom ou le code du médicament, y compris le nom ou le symbole chimique du radionucléide ;

2° L’identification du lot et la date de péremption ;

3° Le nom et l’adresse du fabricant ;

4° Le symbole international de la radioactivité ;

5° La quantité totale ou unitaire de la radioactivité.
