Article R5121-192 of the French Public Health Code

In blood transfusion establishments and in any organisation other than pharmacies, health establishments and health cooperation groups authorised to dispense blood-derived medicinal products, these medicinal products are dispensed on the basis of a named medical prescription.

When medicines are dispensed, the information referred to in article R. 5121-187 is recorded in a special register which is listed and initialled by the mayor or police commissioner, or by any other system approved by the Minister for Health.

After administration, a detachable label from the immediate packaging is affixed to the prescription in the patient’s medical file and another label is affixed to the register.

Article R5121-192

Dans les établissements de transfusion sanguine et dans tout organisme, autre que les officines de pharmacie, les établissements de santé et les groupements de coopération sanitaire habilité à dispenser des médicaments dérivés du sang, ces médicaments sont délivrés au vu d’une prescription médicale nominative.

La délivrance des médicaments donne lieu à l’enregistrement des informations mentionnées à l’article R. 5121-187 sur un registre spécial coté et paraphé par le maire ou le commissaire de police, ou par tout autre système approuvé par le ministre chargé de la santé.

Après administration, une étiquette détachable du conditionnement primaire est apposée sur l’ordonnance figurant dans le dossier médical du patient et une autre étiquette est apposée sur le registre.
