Article R5121-98 of the French Public Health Code

The Director General of the Agency will take a decision within two hundred and ten days of the submission of a complete application.

He may ask the applicant, in a letter stating the reasons for the request, for any additional information he considers necessary to reach a decision on the application. The period provided for in the first paragraph is suspended until receipt of the information requested.

Le directeur général de l’agence se prononce dans un délai de deux cent dix jours à compter de la présentation d’un dossier de demande complet.


Il peut requérir du demandeur, par un courrier motivé, toute information complémentaire qu’il estime nécessaire pour se prononcer sur la demande. Le délai prévu au premier alinéa est suspendu jusqu’à la réception des éléments demandés.
