Article R5124-29 of the French Public Health Code

In the event of the death of the pharmacist who owns a company mentioned in article R. 5124-2, the manager after his death is the pharmacist who continues to run the company under the conditions set out in article L. 5124-4.

He or she is chosen from among the pharmacists mentioned in article R. 5124-27 and, as soon as he or she has accepted the duties entrusted to him or her by the spouse or heirs, requests authorisation from the Director General of the Regional Health Agency.

Article R5124-29

En cas de décès du pharmacien propriétaire d’une entreprise mentionnée à l’article R. 5124-2, le gérant après décès est le pharmacien qui en poursuit l’exploitation dans les conditions prévues à l’article L. 5124-4.

Il est choisi parmi les pharmaciens mentionnés à l’article R. 5124-27 et sollicite, dès qu’il a accepté les fonctions qui lui sont confiées par le conjoint ou les héritiers, l’autorisation du directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé.
