A person who fulfils the conditions laid down in the first paragraph of article L. 5125-2 and intends to practise pharmacy concurrently with one of the professions of doctor, dental surgeon, midwife or veterinary surgeon shall make a declaration to the Director General of the Regional Health Agency.
In addition to documents proving that the required conditions have been met, the application must include a copy of the undertaking on honour, attached to the application for registration with the two orders to which the person concerned belongs, to take all necessary steps to be able to practise both professions in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.
The applicant may not practise the dual profession until he or she has received a certificate from the Director General of the Regional Health Agency stating that he or she meets the legal conditions. The certificate or refusal of certificate is notified within three months of receipt of the application at the prefecture.
Silence on the part of the Director General of the Regional Health Agency on expiry of the three-month period is equivalent to the issue of the certificate.
