Article R5125-34 of the French Public Health Code

The assistant pharmacists referred to in article L. 5125-20 are persons who, fulfilling the conditions for practising pharmacy in France, carry out their activity:

1° In a pharmacy, with the pharmacist(s) or the manager of the pharmacy after their death ;

2° In a mutualist pharmacy or a mining relief society, with the manager;

3° In a pharmacy for internal use, with the pharmacist in charge of management;

4° In a pharmaceutical establishment, with the responsible or delegated pharmacist;

5° In a veterinary pharmaceutical establishment mentioned in article R. 5142-1, with the pharmacist or veterinary surgeon in charge or delegated.

Assistant pharmacists carry out their activities under the conditions set out in articles L. 5125-20, L. 5125-21, L. 5126-14 and L. 5124-4.

On entend par pharmaciens adjoints mentionnés à l’article L. 5125-20 les personnes qui, remplissant les conditions d’exercice de la pharmacie en France, exercent leur activité :

1° Dans une officine, avec le ou les pharmaciens titulaires ou le gérant de la pharmacie après décès ;

2° Dans une pharmacie mutualiste ou une société de secours minière, avec le gérant ;

3° Dans une pharmacie à usage intérieur, avec le pharmacien chargé de la gérance ;

4° Dans un établissement pharmaceutique, avec le pharmacien responsable ou délégué ;

5° Dans un établissement pharmaceutique vétérinaire mentionné à l’article R. 5142-1, avec le pharmacien ou le vétérinaire responsable ou délégué.

Les pharmaciens adjoints exercent leur activité dans les conditions prévues aux articles L. 5125-20, L. 5125-21, L. 5126-14 et L. 5124-4.
