When the scale of the activity of the pharmacy for internal use so requires, and in any event in order to carry out these activities on each of the sites of the pharmacy for internal use, the Minister for Defence shall appoint one or more pharmacists covered by the provisions of article L. 4138-2 of the Defence Code, to assist the pharmacist responsible for managing the pharmacy.
These pharmacists may simultaneously carry out their duties and those of pharmacist in charge, delegate or deputy pharmacist of a pharmaceutical establishment under the same conditions as the pharmacist responsible for managing the pharmacy for internal use.
When these pharmacists are absent for more than one month, they are replaced. Their replacement, which may not exceed one year, is carried out by a pharmacist covered by the provisions of article L. 4138-2 of the Defence Code who is subject to the same service obligations as the pharmacist he is replacing.
