Article R5127-12 of the French Public Health Code

One of the samples is left with the owner or holder of the product.

If the interested party refuses to keep the said sample on deposit, this refusal will be mentioned in the report or the minutes.

Under no circumstances shall the person concerned alter the condition of the sample entrusted to him.

L’un des échantillons est laissé au propriétaire ou détenteur du produit.

Si l’intéressé refuse de conserver ledit échantillon en dépôt, mention de ce refus est faite dans le rapport ou le procès-verbal.

Sous aucun prétexte l’intéressé ne modifie l’état de l’échantillon qui lui est confié.
