Article R5127-19 of the French Public Health Code

The products seized are placed under seal and sent to the public prosecutor at the same time as the official report. If it is not possible to send them immediately, they are left with the person concerned or, if he refuses, in a place chosen by the author of the official report.

Les produits saisis sont placés sous scellés et envoyés au procureur de la République en même temps que le procès-verbal. Si leur envoi immédiat est impossible, ils sont laissés en dépôt à l’intéressé ou, sur son refus, dans un lieu choisi par l’auteur du procès-verbal.
