Article R5132-42-4 of the French Public Health Code

The pharmacist removes the prescribed dosage units from the original outer packaging by any means that guarantees their integrity. He or she places them in a new outer packaging suitable for transport and storage. All parts of the new outer packaging must be strong enough to prevent any loss of contents.

The new outer packaging must not contain medicinal products from different batches.

Le pharmacien prélève dans le conditionnement extérieur initial les unités de prise prescrites, par tout moyen permettant de garantir leur intégrité. Il les place dans un nouveau conditionnement extérieur adapté, permettant d’en assurer le transport et la conservation. Celui-ci est, dans toutes ses parties, suffisamment solide pour empêcher toute déperdition de son contenu.

Le nouveau conditionnement extérieur ne doit pas contenir des spécialités de lots différents.
