For any medicinal product that may give rise to a conditional dispensing prescription as referred to in article L. 5121-12-1-1, and without prejudice to the information provided for in article R. 5132-3, the prescriber, when he considers it necessary to use such a prescription, shall indicate on it the medical biology examinations or rapid diagnostic tests to be carried out, the results to be obtained, authorising the dispensing of the said medicinal product by the pharmacist and, where applicable, the time limit after which the prescription will lapse.
A decree by the ministers responsible for health and social security sets the list of medicinal products provided for in the previous paragraph with regard to public health objectives or the control of healthcare expenditure. This order also specifies for each medicinal product the indications concerned, the medical biology examinations or rapid diagnostic orientation tests to be carried out, the results to be obtained as a condition for dispensing the medicinal product, where applicable the period of validity of this prescription and the associated information that must appear on the prescription.
