A proprietary medicinal product covered by the regulations on poisonous substances may not be unpackaged by the dispensing pharmacist with a view to its incorporation into a magistral preparation.
This prohibition does not apply to medicinal products intended to be applied to the skin.
By way of exception, a magistral preparation may be made from a proprietary medicinal product in compliance with the conditions set out in the good preparation practices mentioned in article L. 5121-5.
