The persons authorised to fill prescriptions or orders containing medicinal products other than preparations covered by this section must transcribe them immediately, in ink, without blanks or overwriting, into a register or record them immediately using any appropriate system which does not allow the data contained therein to be altered once their recording has been validated.
The recording systems allow the information provided for in article R. 5132-10 to be printed immediately at the request of any supervisory authority, and each printed page must include the name and address of the pharmacy. The data they contain must appear on a medium that guarantees their permanence and integrity. They must also be duplicated on two separate media, the first used for regular consultation, the second kept in reserve. Archived data must be accessible, consultable and usable for the duration of its retention.
