Article R5138-3 of the French Public Health Code

The certificate of compliance with good manufacturing practice referred to in article L. 5138-4 is issued following an inspection of the establishment if the good practices provided for in article L. 5138-3 are complied with. This certificate may not be used to guarantee the purity or quality of individual batches of products manufactured. It is issued within ninety days of the inspection. If no response is received from the Agency within this period, the certificate will be refused.

Le certificat de conformité aux bonnes pratiques de fabrication mentionné à l’article L. 5138-4 est délivré à la suite d’une inspection de l’établissement si les bonnes pratiques prévues à l’article L. 5138-3 sont respectées. Ce certificat ne peut valoir garantie de la pureté ou de la qualité des lots individuels de produits fabriqués. Sa délivrance intervient dans un délai de quatre-vingt-dix jours à compter de l’inspection. Le silence gardé à l’issue de ce délai par l’agence vaut décision de refus du certificat.
