Article R5139-16 of the French Public Health Code

The authorisation holder shall inform the Director General of the Agency of the commencement of the activity covered by the authorisation. He shall also inform him of the definitive cessation of this activity. The authorisation document is then returned to the Agency. The authorisation is also returned to the Director General of the Agency when it has been withdrawn in accordance with the provisions of article R. 5139-8 and article R. 5139-11.

On expiry of the authorisation or in the event of withdrawal of the authorisation, the holder must send the Director General of the Agency within one month a certificate stating that he does not hold any micro-organisms or toxins covered by the authorisation. In the event of suspension of the authorisation as provided for in Article R. 5139-11, the Director General of the Agency may, if the circumstances so require, ask the holder to provide this certificate within the same time limit.

Article R5139-16

Le titulaire de l’autorisation informe le directeur général de l’agence du début de l’activité prévue par l’autorisation. Il l’informe également de la cessation définitive de cette activité. Il retourne alors à l’agence le document d’autorisation. L’autorisation est également retournée au directeur général de l’agence lorsqu’elle a été retirée conformément aux dispositions de l’article R. 5139-8 et de l’article R. 5139-11.

A l’expiration de l’autorisation ou en cas de retrait de l’autorisation, le titulaire communique au directeur général de l’agence dans le délai d’un mois une attestation de non-détention de micro-organismes ou de toxines visés par l’autorisation. En cas de suspension de l’autorisation prévue à l’article R. 5139-11, le directeur général de l’agence peut, si les circonstances l’exigent, demander au titulaire de lui communiquer cette attestation dans le même délai.
