Article R5139-27 of the French Public Health Code

The prescription and supply of medicinal products containing micro-organisms or toxins other than those included on the list provided for in article R. 5139-26 is prohibited.

The preparation of any preparations containing micro-organisms or toxins is prohibited.

Apart from the operations necessary for their administration, a proprietary medicinal product for human use, a proprietary veterinary medicinal product or an auto-vaccine for veterinary use containing micro-organisms or toxins may not be unpacked by the persons authorised to supply them.

La prescription et la délivrance des médicaments contenant des micro-organismes ou des toxines autres que les médicaments figurant sur la liste prévue à l’article R. 5139-26 sont interdites.

L’exécution de toutes préparations contenant des micro-organismes ou des toxines est interdite.

En dehors des opérations nécessaires à leur administration, une spécialité pharmaceutique à usage humain, une spécialité pharmaceutique vétérinaire ou un autovaccin à usage vétérinaire contenant des micro-organismes ou des toxines ne peut faire l’objet d’un déconditionnement par les personnes habilitées à les délivrer.
