Substances with anti-infectious, anti-parasitic (external and internal), anti-inflammatory, analgesic, neuroleptic, anaesthetic, hormonal or anabolic properties are subject, in application of the last paragraph of article L. 5144-1, to the specific conditions of supply defined below.
Without prejudice to the provisions concerning poisonous substances, the supply of the substances mentioned in the previous paragraph complies with the following rules:
1° These products may only be sold to persons authorised to hold them by virtue of their profession;
2° Transfers must be recorded by any means including the name, address and profession of the purchaser as well as the name and quantity of the substance sold or transferred;
3° If the purchaser’s profession does not involve the use of these products, the use for which they are intended shall be stated in accordance with the declaration made by the interested party.
These substances may not be delivered as they are to breeders or agricultural groups mentioned in article L. 5143-6, unless they are intended to be used for authorised agricultural and phytosanitary purposes.
