Article R5141-123-5 of the French Public Health Code

The copy of the import authorisation or temporary use authorisation referred to in article L. 5141-10 is presented during the inspection by the customs officers.

For imported veterinary medicinal products with the marketing authorisation referred to in article L. 5141-5 or the registration referred to in article L. 5141-9, customs officers check the corresponding marketing authorisation or registration number which appears on the packaging.

La copie de l’autorisation d’importation ou de l’autorisation temporaire d’utilisation mentionnée à l’article L. 5141-10 est présentée lors du contrôle par les agents des douanes.

Pour les médicaments vétérinaires importés pourvus de l’autorisation de mise sur le marché mentionnée à l’article L. 5141-5 ou de l’enregistrement mentionné à l’article L. 5141-9, les agents des douanes contrôlent le numéro d’autorisation de mise sur le marché ou d’enregistrement correspondant qui figure sur le conditionnement.
