Article R5141-139 of the French Public Health Code

The labelling of self-vaccines for veterinary use and, where appropriate, the accompanying information sheet must include, in addition to the words: “self-vaccine for veterinary use” in clearly visible characters, the following information:

1° The name of the pathogen ;

2° The qualitative composition in active substances and adjuvants and constituents of the excipient, knowledge of which is necessary for correct administration of the medicinal product, as well as the volume or number of doses per package;

3° The batch number of the preparation;

4° The name of the authorisation holder, the name of the company or the name of the organisation which, where applicable, provides the facilities and the address of the place of preparation;

5° The species of destination;

6° The name and address of the keeper of the animal or farm from which the pathogen was taken;

7° The expiry date;

8° Storage precautions.

L’étiquetage des autovaccins à usage vétérinaire et, le cas échéant, la fiche d’information qui les accompagne comportent, outre la mention : “autovaccin à usage vétérinaire” en caractères très apparents, les mentions suivantes :

1° La dénomination de l’agent pathogène ;

2° La composition qualitative en substances actives et en adjuvants et constituants de l’excipient dont la connaissance est nécessaire à une bonne administration du médicament, ainsi que le volume ou le nombre de doses par conditionnement ;

3° Le numéro du lot de préparation ;

4° Le nom du titulaire de l’autorisation, la dénomination de la société ou le nom de l’organisme qui, le cas échéant, met à sa disposition les installations et l’adresse du lieu de préparation ;

5° Les espèces de destination ;

6° Le nom et l’adresse du détenteur de l’animal ou de l’élevage où a été prélevé l’agent pathogène ;

7° La date de péremption ;

8° Les précautions de conservation.
