The registration of a homeopathic veterinary medicinal product mentioned in Article L. 5141-9 may be refused, suspended or withdrawn by the Director General of the Agency. Decisions to refuse, suspend or cancel registration are notified to the applicant. Reasons are given for the decision and the applicable appeal procedures and deadlines are indicated. A suspension decision may not be taken for more than one year.
Suspension or cancellation decisions may only be taken after the registration holder has been invited to submit his observations.
When the registration is suspended or cancelled, the holder informs the stockholders without delay. They must take the necessary steps to stop the distribution of the medicinal product. Failing this, the Director General of the Agency will take the appropriate measures.
Independently of the aforementioned suspension or withdrawal decisions and as a precautionary measure, the Director General of the Agency may prohibit the supply of certain batches of registered medicinal products which are the subject of dispute and recall these batches.
