Article R5142-40 of the French Public Health Code

For the purposes of calculating the number of staff referred to in articles R. 5142-38 and R. 5142-39, account is taken of persons engaged in the following operations:

1° Manufacturing and import operations and all related controls ;

2° Procurement, warehousing, order preparation and packaging;

3° Batch monitoring, complaints handling, product withdrawals and returns, pharmacovigilance operations.

Pour le calcul de l’effectif des personnels mentionnés aux articles R. 5142-38 et R. 5142-39, il est tenu compte des personnes qui se livrent aux opérations suivantes :

1° Opérations de fabrication et d’importation et tous contrôles y afférents ;

2° Approvisionnement, magasinage, préparation des commandes et emballage ;

3° Suivi des lots, traitement des réclamations, retraits et retours des produits, opérations de pharmacovigilance.
