Article R5142-53 of the French Public Health Code

The depositories defined in 4° of article R. 5142-1 carry out their activities under the conditions set out in a written contract which, in accordance with the good practices provided for in article L. 5142-3 applicable to these activities, sets out the respective obligations of the depository and the operator on whose behalf it is acting. They may only distribute batches of veterinary medicinal products which have been released by the pharmacist or veterinarian responsible for the company which manufactures or imports them.

Les dépositaires définis au 4° de l’article R. 5142-1 exercent leurs activités dans les conditions prévues par un contrat écrit qui fixe, conformément aux bonnes pratiques prévues à l’article L. 5142-3 applicables à ces activités, les obligations respectives du dépositaire et de l’exploitant pour le compte duquel il agit. Ils ne peuvent distribuer que des lots de médicaments vétérinaires ayant fait l’objet d’une libération par le pharmacien ou le vétérinaire responsable de l’entreprise qui en assure la fabrication ou l’importation.
