Article R5146-4 of the French Public Health Code

The official veterinarians mentioned in 3° of article L. 5146-2, sworn in under the conditions defined in article R. 205-1 of the rural and maritime fishing code and authorised to investigate and record offences provided for and punished by the provisions of title III of book II of the same code, are also authorised to investigate and record offences under this title, without taking a further oath.

Article R5146-4

Les vétérinaires officiels mentionnés au 3° de l’article L. 5146-2, assermentés dans les conditions définies à l’article R. 205-1 du code rural et de la pêche maritime et habilités à rechercher et constater les infractions prévues et réprimées par des dispositions du titre III du livre II du même code, sont également habilités à rechercher et à constater les infractions relevant du présent titre, sans nouvelle prestation de serment.
