Article R517-12 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution has six months from receipt of the initial application to notify its acceptance of the application for approval.

It has only four months from receipt of the initial application to notify its refusal of the application for approval. Where the application is incomplete, this period runs from receipt of the information required for its decision. However, the total period allowed for the Authority to notify its refusal may not exceed six months from receipt of the initial application.

L’Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution dispose d’un délai de six mois à compter de la réception de la demande initiale pour notifier son acceptation de la demande d’approbation.


Elle ne dispose que d’un délai de quatre mois à compter de la réception de la demande initiale pour notifier son refus de la demande d’approbation. Lorsque la demande est incomplète, ce délai court à compter de la réception des renseignements nécessaires à sa prise de décision. Toutefois, le délai total imparti à l’Autorité pour notifier son refus ne peut excéder six mois à compter de la réception de la demande initiale.
