Article R519-34 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The association ensures that its members comply with the obligation to offer their customers recourse to a consumer mediator in accordance with the first paragraph of article L. 612-1 of the French Consumer Code.

To this end, it offers them a mediator who meets the requirements of Title I of Book VI of the same code, using, where appropriate, a mediator from outside the association.

Article R519-34

L’association s’assure que ses membres satisfont à l’obligation de proposer à leurs clients le recours à un médiateur de la consommation conformément au premier alinéa de l’article L. 612-1 du code de la consommation.

Elle leur propose à cette fin un médiateur répondant aux exigences du titre Ier du livre VI du même code en recourant, le cas échéant, à un médiateur extérieur à cette association.
