Article R5212-1-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The budget of a single-purpose syndicate is voted by nature, without functional presentation.

The budget of a syndicate established under the conditions laid down in article L. 5212-16 is voted in accordance with the conditions set out in the previous paragraph. The presentation of the budget is completed by a summary table cross-referencing the accounts by nature and the competencies delegated by the member municipalities, which are the subject of budgets attached to the main budget where applicable. General administration expenses are allocated within each annexed budget or subdivision corresponding to these powers.

Le budget du syndicat à vocation unique est voté par nature, sans présentation fonctionnelle.

Le budget d’un syndicat institué dans les conditions fixées à l’article L. 5212-16 est voté dans les conditions prévues à l’alinéa précédent. La présentation du budget est complétée par un tableau récapitulatif croisant les comptes par nature et les compétences déléguées par les communes adhérentes, faisant l’objet s’il y a lieu de budgets annexes au budget principal. Les dépenses d’administration générale sont réparties à l’intérieur de chaque budget annexe ou subdivision correspondant à ces compétences.
