Article R5221-32 of the French Labour Code

Renewal of the work permit referred to in I of article R. 5221-1 is applied for during the second month before it expires.

The renewal application must be accompanied by documents, the list of which is set by joint order of the ministers responsible for immigration and employment.

The work permit is renewed for the duration of the employment contract still to run or the assignment still to be completed in France.

Article R5221-32

Le renouvellement d’une autorisation de travail mentionnée au I de l’article R. 5221-1 est sollicité dans le courant du deuxième mois précédant son expiration.

La demande de renouvellement est accompagnée de documents dont la liste est fixée par arrêté conjoint des ministres chargés de l’immigration et du travail.

L’autorisation de travail est renouvelée dans la limite de la durée du contrat de travail restant à courir ou de la mission restant à accomplir en France.
