Article R532-28-2 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The identification of the author of an appeal or brief, in accordance with the procedures laid down by the order referred to in Article R. 414-3 of the Code of Administrative Justice, is equivalent to a signature for the application of the provisions of this code.

However, when the appeal or brief has not been the subject of an electronic signature within the meaning of the second paragraph of Article 1367 of the Civil Code, the agent may, if necessary, be required to produce a copy of the appeal or brief bearing his handwritten signature.

L’identification de l’auteur d’un recours ou d’un mémoire, selon les modalités prévues par l’arrêté mentionné à l’article R. 414-3 du code de justice administrative, vaut signature pour l’application des dispositions du présent code.

Toutefois, lorsque le recours ou le mémoire n’a pas fait l’objet d’une signature électronique au sens du second alinéa de l’article 1367 du code civil, le mandataire peut, en cas de nécessité, être tenu de produire un exemplaire du recours ou du mémoire revêtu de sa signature manuscrite.
