Article R533-18-3 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

Members of staff of an investment firm who have been given authority to sign on behalf of that firm may not take up any other employment or perform any paid work outside that firm without first informing the firm’s management.

This provision does not apply to the production of scientific, literary or artistic works.

Les membres du personnel d’une entreprise d’investissement, lorsqu’ils ont reçu le pouvoir de signer pour le compte de cette entreprise, ne peuvent occuper un autre emploi ni effectuer un travail rétribué en dehors de cette entreprise sans en avoir, au préalable, informé la direction de l’entreprise.

Cette disposition ne s’applique pas à la production des oeuvres scientifiques, littéraires ou artistiques.
