Article R5462-3 of the French Public Health Code

Presenting, at scientific or technical meetings, exhibitions or demonstrations, in vitro diagnostic medical devices that do not comply with the provisions of articles R. 5221-10 and R. 5221-14 without displaying a sign clearly indicating that these devices may not be placed on the market or put into service until they have been brought into compliance is punishable by the fine laid down for third class offences.

Est puni de l’amende prévue pour les contraventions de troisième classe le fait de présenter, lors de réunions scientifiques ou techniques, d’expositions ou de démonstrations, des dispositifs médicaux de diagnostic in vitro non conformes aux dispositions des articles R. 5221-10 et R. 5221-14 sans accompagner cette présentation d’un panneau qui indique clairement que ces dispositifs ne peuvent être ni mis sur le marché ni mis en service avant leur mise en conformité.
