Article R561-26 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

For avocats au Conseil d’Etat et à la Cour de cassation and avocats, except where they act as fiduciaries, the person responsible for responding to any request from the department referred to in Article L. 561-23 and for receiving acknowledgements of receipt of declarations made by the body pursuant to the provisions of Article L. 561-15 is, depending on the case, and with the option of delegation for each of them, the President of the Bar Association of the Conseil d’Etat and the Cour de Cassation or the President of the Bar Association with which the lawyer is registered.

These authorities will forward the request or the acknowledgement of receipt immediately to the professional concerned. However, the acknowledgement of receipt will not be sent if the professional has expressly indicated that he does not wish to receive it.

Pour les avocats au Conseil d’Etat et à la Cour de cassation et les avocats, sauf lorsqu’ils agissent en qualité de fiduciaires, la personne chargée de répondre à toute demande émanant du service mentionné à l’article L. 561-23 et de recevoir les accusés de réception des déclarations faites par l’organisme en application des dispositions de l’article L. 561-15 est, selon les cas, avec faculté de délégation pour chacun d’entre eux, le président de l’ordre des avocats au Conseil d’Etat et à la Cour de cassation ou le bâtonnier de l’ordre auprès duquel l’avocat est inscrit.

Ces autorités transmettent la demande ou l’accusé de réception immédiatement au professionnel concerné. Toutefois, la transmission de l’accusé de réception n’a pas lieu si le professionnel a indiqué expressément ne pas vouloir en être destinataire.
