Article R594-3 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

For the application of this book in the Wallis and Futuna Islands:
1° With the exception of Article R. 561-11, the words: “in France” are replaced by the words: “in the Wallis and Futuna Islands” and the words: “of France” by the words: “of the Wallis and Futuna Islands”;
2° In Article R. 520-1, after the reference to Article R. 521-9, the reference to Article R. 521-13 is inserted;
3° In Article R. 521-1, the words: “within French territory” are replaced by the words: “in the Wallis and Futuna Islands”;
4° References to the Prefect are replaced by references to the High Administrator of the Wallis and Futuna Islands;
5° Article R. 521-8 is amended as follows:
a) in the first paragraph, after the words “placed in possession”, the words “, by the High Administrator of the Wallis and Futuna Islands,” are added;
b) in the second paragraph, the word “other” is deleted;
6° In Article R. 521-9, the words: “or where the fingerprints taken pursuant to Article R. 521-7 cannot be used,” are deleted;
7° In Article R. 521-18, the reference to Article R. 521-7 is deleted;
8° In Articles R. 531-5, R. 531-19 and R. 531-21, the reference to the Director General of the French Office for Immigration and Integration is deleted;
9° In Article R. 531-18, the provisions of 2° do not apply;
10° In Article R. 532-57, the words: “to the competent Prefect and the Director of the French Office of Immigration and Integration” are replaced by the words: “to the High Administrator of the Wallis and Futuna Islands”;
11° In article R. 532-71, the words: “to the Minister of the Interior and the Minister responsible for Asylum, who have one week to produce their observations” are replaced by the words: “to the High Administrator of the Wallis and Futuna Islands, who has one week to produce his observations”;
12° In Article R. 532-72, the words: “to the Minister of the Interior and the Minister responsible for asylum” are replaced by the words: “to the High Administrator of the Wallis and Futuna Islands”;
13° In Article R. 561-3, the words: “the Minister responsible for asylum” are replaced by the words: “the High Administrator of the Wallis and Futuna Islands”.

Pour l’application du présent livre dans les îles Wallis et Futuna :
