Without prejudice to the provisions of 2° of Article L. 721-8 and Article R. 662-7, the court with territorial jurisdiction to hear the proceedings provided for in Book VI of the Legislative Part of this Code is the court within whose jurisdiction the debtor, a legal entity, has its registered office or the debtor, a natural person, has declared the address of its business or activity. In the absence of a registered office in French territory, the competent court is that in whose jurisdiction the debtor has the principal centre of his interests in France.
However, if the registered office of the legal entity changes within the six months preceding the referral to the court, the court in whose jurisdiction the original registered office was located retains sole jurisdiction. This period runs from the date of the amending entry in the register of commerce and companies of the original registered office.
