Article R611-3 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The Minister responsible for the economy may extend the accounting provisions adopted pursuant to this chapter to the accounting officers of the Directorate General of Public Finances. However, this extension may not go beyond the establishment of correlation tables enabling them to provide accounting information on the banking transactions they carry out that is identical to that of credit institutions.

The Minister responsible for the economy may extend to Caisse des dépôts et consignations the accounting provisions adopted pursuant to this chapter.

Article R611-3

Le ministre chargé de l’économie peut étendre aux comptables de la direction générale des finances publiques les dispositions comptables prises en application du présent chapitre. Toutefois, cette extension ne peut aller au-delà de l’établissement de tableaux de correspondance permettant de fournir sur les opérations de banque qu’ils effectuent des informations comptables identiques à celles des établissements de crédit.

Le ministre chargé de l’économie peut étendre à la Caisse des dépôts et consignations les dispositions comptables prises en application du présent chapitre.
