The temporary non-medical accommodation service may be provided by the health care organisation or may be delegated to a third party under an agreement. The delegated third party, chosen by the health care organisation mentioned in article R. 6111-50, may be another health care organisation or any other public or private legal entity.
Temporary non-medical accommodation may be provided within the health care organisation, in identified premises that are separate from the care and hospitalisation areas. It may also be provided outside the health care establishment, in premises dedicated to accommodation and located close to the establishment. The premises must meet the requirements ofarticle R. 164-1 of the French Construction and Housing Code.
If the service is delegated to a third party, an agreement is signed between the health care establishment and the third party, specifying in particular the terms of access for the person accommodated and any accompanying person(s) mentioned in article R. 6111-52, their accommodation and, where applicable, catering arrangements, the cleaning and hygiene conditions of the premises, the financial terms of the delegation, the safety rules and the respective responsibilities in the event of non-compliance with the reciprocal commitments made under the agreement.
