Article R612-75 of the French Intellectual Property Code

The texts of patents shall be published in extenso and kept at the Institut national de la propriété industrielle.

The files of patent applications shall be kept by the Institut national de la propriété industrielle until the end of a period of ten years after the expiry of the rights attached to the patents.

The original parts of the descriptions and drawings of patents not printed before 11 April 1902 shall remain deposited at the Institut national de la propriété industrielle.

Les textes des brevets sont publiés in extenso et conservés à l’Institut national de la propriété industrielle.

Les dossiers des demandes de brevet sont conservés par l’Institut national de la propriété industrielle jusqu’au terme d’un délai de dix ans après l’extinction des droits attachés aux brevets.

Les pièces originales des descriptions et des dessins des brevets non imprimés avant le 11 avril 1902 restent déposées à l’Institut national de la propriété industrielle.
