Article R613-1 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution shall chair and organise meetings of colleges of supervisors on the basis of the relevance of the supervisory activity to be planned or coordinated and, in particular, the potential impact on the stability of the financial system in the Member States concerned.

When establishing a college of supervisors in accordance with Article L. 613-20-2, the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution shall work closely with the European Banking Authority. It shall inform the latter of the activities of the college, including in emergency situations, and provide it with any information that is particularly relevant to the objective of supervisory convergence.

Article R613-1

L’Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution préside et organise les réunions des collèges des superviseurs en fonction de la pertinence de l’activité de surveillance à planifier ou à coordonner, et, notamment, de l’impact potentiel sur la stabilité du système financier dans les Etats membres concernés.

L’Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution, lorsqu’elle institue un collège de superviseurs conformément à l’article L. 613-20-2, collabore étroitement avec l’Autorité bancaire européenne. Elle l’informe des activités du collège, y compris dans les situations d’urgence, et lui communique toute information particulièrement pertinente au regard de l’objectif de convergence en matière de surveillance.
