Article R614-6 of the French Intellectual Property Code

If, within the period provided for in the third paragraph of Article R. 614-5, one of the conditions required by the said paragraph is not met, the patent application shall be rejected by reasoned decision of the Director General of the National Institute of Industrial Property and notified to the applicant. Any fees paid shall be refunded.

Si, dans le délai prévu au troisième alinéa de l’article R. 614-5, l’une des conditions exigées audit alinéa n’est pas remplie, la demande de brevet est rejetée par décision motivée du directeur général de l’Institut national de la propriété industrielle et notifiée au demandeur. Les redevances payées sont remboursées.
