All permanent or probationary civil servants and contract staff working in the establishment on the date of the ballot are eligible to vote.
Staff in each category appoint their representatives to the committee by secret ballot in a single ballot.
The number of seats on the nursing, re-education and medico-technical care committee is determined by the establishment’s internal regulations within the limit of 30 elected members for hospital centres and 40 elected members for university hospital centres.
The number of substitute seats to be filled is equal, per college, to the number of full members. Substitute members do not have to be nominated separately. Full members and alternates are appointed in descending order of the number of votes obtained.
The term of office for elected members of the committee is four years. This term is renewable.
The Chairman of the Board shall draw up a list of the members of the Committee.
