Article R6146-9 of the French Public Health Code

Based on the cluster contract, the cluster project defines the tasks and responsibilities entrusted to the internal structures, departments or functional units and the organisation implemented to achieve the objectives assigned to the cluster. It provides for developments in their field of activity, as well as the resources and organisation that result.

Within three months of his/her appointment, the department head, in association with the department heads and health managers, draws up a department project.

Le projet de pôle définit, sur la base du contrat de pôle, les missions et responsabilités confiées aux structures internes, services ou unités fonctionnelles et l’organisation mise en œuvre pour atteindre les objectifs qui sont assignés au pôle. Il prévoit les évolutions de leur champ d’activité ainsi que les moyens et l’organisation qui en découlent.

Le chef de pôle, en association avec les chefs de service et les cadres de santé, élabore dans un délai de trois mois après sa nomination un projet de pôle.
