Step advancement is based on the following periods:

1st step: two years ;

2nd step: two years;

3rd step: two years;

4th step: two years;

5th step: two years;

6th step: two years;

7th step: two years;

8th step: two years;

9th step: four years;

10th step: four years;

11th step: four years;

12th step: four years.

Advancement to a higher step is decided by the Director General of the Centre National de Gestion.

L’avancement d’échelon est prononcé par le directeur général du Centre national de gestion.
