In the event of non-renewal which is not at the practitioner’s initiative, the decision is taken after a reasoned opinion from the head of the department or, failing that, the head of the internal structure to which the practitioner is assigned and the chairman of the establishment’s medical committee.

The director of the establishment sends these opinions to the director general of the Centre national de gestion, together with his reasoned opinion, at least three months before the end of the current period.

The director general of the Centre national de gestion shall notify the practitioner of his decision by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or by letter delivered by hand against receipt, at least two months before the end of the current period.
