Article R6152-408 of the French Public Health Code

Contract practitioners participate in continuity of care or pharmaceutical duty in conjunction with other members of the medical profession or other pharmacists in the establishment.

In this capacity, they provide in particular:

1° In the structures organised on a continuous basis, day and night work under the conditions defined by the internal regulations and the duty roster;

2° In other structures, daily morning and afternoon work; in addition, they participate in the continuity of care or pharmaceutical duty organised either on site or on call at home.

Les praticiens contractuels participent à la continuité des soins ou à la permanence pharmaceutique conjointement avec les autres membres du corps médical ou avec les autres pharmaciens de l’établissement.

A ce titre, ils assurent en particulier :

1° Dans les structures organisées en temps continu, le travail de jour et de nuit dans les conditions définies par le règlement intérieur et le tableau de service ;

2° Dans les autres structures, le travail quotidien du matin et de l’après-midi ; en outre, ils participent à la continuité des soins ou à la permanence pharmaceutique organisée soit sur place, soit en astreinte à domicile.
