When the interests of the service so require, a contractual practitioner may be suspended by the director of the public health establishment after receiving the opinion of the head of the department or, failing that, the head of the department, the functional unit or any other internal structure to which the practitioner reports and the chairman of the establishment’s medical committee, for a maximum period of two months. During the period of suspension, the practitioner will receive all the emoluments mentioned in article R. 6152-416 corresponding to his service obligations. The director of the establishment shall inform the director general of the regional health agency of his decision.
