Article R6152-5-1 of the French Public Health Code

Hospital practitioners who, as contract practitioners or hospital assistants, have signed a hospital career commitment agreement in application of the provisions of article R. 6152-404-1 or article R. 6152-508-1, recruited to a post in a speciality for which the supply of care is or is likely to be insufficient in the public health establishment in which they are practising and which corresponds to a specialised diploma for which there are major recruitment difficulties in public health establishments, may undertake, by amendment to this agreement, to complete three additional years of actual service in their post.

This new commitment, which may only be entered into once, takes effect five years after the effective date of the agreement.

Les praticiens hospitaliers ayant conclu, en qualité de praticien contractuel ou d’assistant des hôpitaux, une convention d’engagement de carrière hospitalière en application des dispositions respectivement de l’article R. 6152-404-1 ou de l’article R. 6152-508-1, recrutés sur un poste dans une spécialité, d’une part, pour laquelle l’offre de soins est ou risque d’être insuffisante dans l’établissement public de santé dans lequel ils exercent et, d’autre part, correspondant à un diplôme d’études spécialisées présentant des difficultés importantes de recrutement dans les établissements publics de santé, peuvent s’engager par avenant à cette convention à accomplir trois années supplémentaires de services effectifs sur leur poste.

Ce nouvel engagement, qui ne peut être conclu qu’une fois, prend effet cinq ans après la date d’effet de la convention.
