Article R6152-76 of the French Public Health Code

The Disciplinary Board must reach a decision within four months of the date on which the matter was referred to it, this period being extended to six months if an additional investigation is carried out.

In the event of proceedings before a criminal court, the Disciplinary Board may defer issuing its opinion until the decision of that court.

Le conseil de discipline doit se prononcer dans le délai de quatre mois à compter du jour où il a été saisi, ce délai étant porté à six mois lorsqu’une enquête complémentaire est effectuée.

En cas de poursuites devant une juridiction pénale, le conseil de discipline peut surseoir à émettre son avis jusqu’à la décision de cette juridiction.
